President Noynoy Aquino declares National State of Calamity. He also released funds for the restoration of the place. The number of dead bodies still rises during the search and rescue operations. Most dead bodies in Iligan were already buried in a mass grave this afternoon. Many protested because the bodies are not yet identified. But because the bodies are already starting to decompose, they do not have a choice but to do it. Some bodies was not included in the burial because some requested for a DNA test in bodies they suspect to be their loved one. Survivors in the evacuation center are still grieving for the loss of their family member. Others are still hoping to see their loved one to be alive. The local government unit asks for help especially with the food, water, clothing, and medical supply for the survivors. Others are already becoming sick. Department of Justice (DOJ) releases its warrant of arrest for Palparan. He was said to hauje kidnapped two students from the University of the Visayas (UV).
