Margaret Montenegro (Helen Gamboa) is talking to her older sister - Virginia (Susan Roces) about her son - Marco Montenegro (Richard Gomez). Margaret is very disappointed with Marco because he is in love with Emillie Cardenas (Dawn Zulueta). Margaret is against the relationship of Marco and Emillie because Emillie is just a worker at the Montenegro's mansion. Virginia then told Margaret to leave her son - Marco alone because Virginia witnessed how Marco loves Emillie so much. Margaret then told Virginia not to interfere with her decision when it comes to her son - Marco because she has no right. Later on, Margaret's husband - Joseph Montenegro (Eddie Gutierrez) talks to Virginia wherein he apologized to her. Joseph told Virginia that she must understand her sister since they both know what kind of person is Margaret. Meanwhile, Emillie is talking to her boy friend - Marco at their house wherein Marco told Emillie not to worry about his mother - Margaret. Marco told Emillie how much he loves her wherein he is willing to marry her as soon as possible.
