The letter that Virginia Cruz (Susan Roces) received bothers her a lot. Virginia went to see Marco Montenegro (Richard Gomez) at the Montenegro Hacienda, returning the letter of a newly opened bank account. Virginia confused Marco, resulting to a conclusion that Daniel Cruz (Coco Martin) is still alive. On the other hand, Marco was very surprised about the letter that Virginia talked about because he is not responsible of opening a bank account for Virginia. Meanwhile, Katerina Alcantara (Julia Montes) was surprised to see Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino) at school. Nathan invited Katerina for a date together with Johanna Montenegro (Melissa Ricks) and Tomas Alcantara (Joem Bascon). During their dinner date, Johanna was not happy to see Katerina but had fun with Tomas' company. On the other hand, in Italy, Daniel prepared a hot breakfast for Emilia "Emily" Cardenas/Guidoti (Dawn Zulueta). Daniel comforted Emily after knowing about her hurtful past.
