At the Alcantara Hacienda, Katerina Alcantara (Julia Montes) together with Virginia Cruz (Susan Roces) saw Daniel Cruz/Guidoti (Coco Martin). Later that time, Katerina and Daniel had their chance talking to each other wherein Daniel expected Katerina's love. As much as Daniel wanted to bring back the past wherein he and Katerina are the ones loving each other, Katerina came up to a decision not to be involved in Daniel's life already. After a long conversation, Daniel tried to kiss Katerina but Katerina resisted. Meanwhile, Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino) was just around, starring at Katerina and Daniel. Nathan was very hurt after he saw Katerina and Daniel who looked very happy talking to each other. Nathan then hurriedly went home making his grandmother worried. Margaret Cruz/Montenegro (Helen Gamboa), Nathan's grandmother, was very worried to Nathan after Margaret saw the fierceful side of Nathan. Nathan, on the other hand, went straight inside his room and thought a lot of things especially his relationship to Katerina.
