Daniel Cruz (Coco Martin) drunk himself to forget the hurt felt after seeing Katerina Alcantara (Julia Montes) married to Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino). Daniel is very determined to revenge against the Montenegro and Alcantara family. With the help of Emilia "Emily" Cardenas/Guidoti, Daniel had a courage to face the Montenegro and Alcantara family again. Daniel can not forget how the Montenegro and Alcantara family hurt his feelings. Back then, Tomas Alcantara (Joem Bascon) almost killed Daniel. Nathan, on the other hand, took Katerina away from Daniel. Meanwhile, Katerina and Nathan are already back home from their honeymoon. At the Montenegro's house, Margaret Cruz/Montenegro (Helen Gamboa) was surprised to see her sister, Virginia Cruz (Susan Roces) visiting Katerina. Margaret insulted Virginia together with Pilar (Arlene Muhlach) who brought some of Katerina's clothes.
