Oliver had no other choice but to marry Jasmin so that he can get an evidence against Jasmin's father, Governor Leo Valderama (Christopher De Leon). Agnes, on the other hand, was very hurt seeing Oliver and Jasmin engaged to each other. Agnes also had no other choice but to support Oliver's decision just to find an evidence for his parent's justice. Agnes knows that Oliver only used Jasmin as his key to get some evidence against Governor Leo.
