Young Martin (Miguel Tanfelix) is contented with his life but he is always asking his grandfather Florentino Caballero (Robert Arevalo) about his parents. He is thirsty with a mother’s love. He is always asking his grandfather what his mother looked like and what is she like. Every time Lolo Florentino praises him, he would then follow it up with a sigh that his mother would be much prouder of him, if she had seen him. Meanwhile, young Martin is a young man with so much happiness in his heart. He loves to play around with the horses. He then said that his mother could have been a good horseback rider because the necklace that his mother gave him had a horse- shoe pendant. He could have got that trait from her. Meanwhile, Martin saw a horse nearby. Young Louie then shouted at him and warned him or touching his horse. Martin then said that he is just looking at the horse. He did not have any plans of stealing it. Mara Silvestre-Valencia (Rio Locsin) then approached the young man and asked Martin if he was doing fine. Martin said that he was okay. Mara then asked his name and she was surprised to see the necklace that the young man was wearing. She then hugged him and was crying. Louie was surprised to see his mother hugging a stranger.
