It was still hard for Sarah Trinidad-Raymundo (Shaina Magdayao) to think of what had happened in her life. She still ponders on the things that had happened in the past. Her mother, Belen Trinidad (Sandy Andolong), told her to forget about it. She tells her mother, Belen, that she never regrets leaving her husband, Paulino "Paul" Raymundo (Jake Cuenca), but it is hard for her to accept that she would never experience of how it is to have a happy and complete family. Meanwhile, Sarah is now making herself busy by opening a business. Her friend, Rino De Dios (Ron Morales), helps her in looking for a good place to put up her planned establishment. Meanwhile, Paul makes it to a point to just focus himself on the things he has to do in jail. He still has years to serve for the Arab authorities. When he and his fellow Filipino inmates talked, they realized the things that they have lost. Paul then shares that the only thing he thinks about is the people whom he had hurt. The people who love him so much but are the ones sacrificing because of his selfishness. Paul did not know that his fear had happened. His mother, Elvie Raymundo (Gloria Diaz), is now experiencing the payment that her body wants. Elvie became sickly because of the work that she had been doing.
