Miguel Ramos (Nonie Buencamino) went to see Margaret Cruz/Montenegro (Helen Gamboa) at her residence, giving threats because of what he recently knew towards Marco and Emily. Miguel was very disappointed to Margaret for not doing anything towards the relationship of Marco Montenegro (Richard Gomez) and Emilia "Emily" Cardenas/Guidotti (Dawn Zulueta). Margaret, on the other hand, tried to convince Miguel that she did everything she could but Miguel wasn't convinced. Meanwhile, at the Guidotti's residence, Emily together with Daniel Cruz/Guidotti (Coco Martin) and Virginia Cruz (Susan Roces) had a conversation. Daniel tried to convince his mother not to trust Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino) because Daniel believed that Nathan is only pretending to be good. Emily, on the other hand, felt insulted by Daniel because Emily will do everything for Marco. Meanwhile, Virginia agreed to Emily because she noticed how Nathan changed and treated Emily. Later that time, a letter from black lady to Emily arrived. Emily wondered who black lady is and suddenly Jean Bonifacio (Eula Valdez) arrived. Emily together with Daniel and Virginia were surprised to see Jean, visiting them late at night. Jean, on the other hand, felt unwelcome but greeted them with a smile. Jean visited Emily and Daniel, telling Emily that she wanted to help for the wedding preparation. Meanwhile, at the Montenegro's residence, Nathan still pretended to be good especially in front of his wife, Katerina Alcantara/Montenegro (Julia Montes). Nathan asked about Katerina's schedule at work, knowing that Daniel is her boss. Katerina, on the other hand, was confused of Nathan's sudden change especially when they talk about Daniel. Katerina had speculations that Nathan pretended to be good while treating Daniel as his brother not his rival.
