August 15, 2012. Angelica Montenegro (Krystal Reyes) suddenly wailed when her balloon got loose. Her half- sister, Elisa Santos (Jennylyn Mercado), then approached her and asked what her problem was. Angelica said that she wanted to have her balloon back. Elisa told her that they’d better buy a new one because it is at a very high place. Atty. Andrew Villagracia (Sid Lucero) then volunteered that he will be the one to get the balloon. But Mark Calderon (Frank Magalona) insisted that he should do that. The two argued and Elisa commanded them to stop. She reminded them why they were there. They were there to let Angelica enjoy and that she could also temporarily forget about her worries. The two apologized and were ashamed of what they did. Elisa then told Angelica that it would be better that they would buy a new one. Angelica agreed and said that they should go to her grandmother, Doña Asuncion Montenegro (Liza Lorena). Angelica badly misses her grandmother. Elisa nodded to her younger sister’s request. Meanwhile, Doña Asuncion was worried of what she did to her granddaughter. She thinks that letting Angelica out of the house is not a good move. She was being unfair to the child. But her daughter, Jordana Monetenegro (Angelu De Leon) said that she should not feel like that. She should not forget that Angelica was the reason why they lost Bernard Montenegro (Lloyd Samartino). After a few minutes, Dennis (Carl Guevarra, Angelica’s tutor, came and was looking for Jordana. Jordana asked him what he was up to. Dennis opened up that he and her daughter, Celine Montenegro (Saab Magalona), did something that night.
