August 31, 2012. Inside prison, Daniel Cruz/Guidotti (Coco Martin) had a coversation with one of his inmate, Teban (Dante Rivero). Teban was very curious why Daniel was so quiet from the day he went inside prison. Teban then knew from Daniel that his case is frustrated murder. Daniel, on the other hand, shared his sadness and worry towards Katerina Alcantara/Montenegro (Julia Montes). Meanwhile, Tomas Alcantara (Joem Bascon) recently knew that his biological mother, Luisa Alcantara/Reyes (Sharmaine Suarez), is alive. Tomas was very hurt as well as disappointed when he saw Luisa together with Katerina. Tomas then went to see Johanna Montenegro (Melissa Ricks) in a bar wherein he expressed all his heartaches. Johanna, on the other hand, pitied Tomas after she knew about Tomas' disappointment to his mother. The day after, at prison, Emilia "Emily" Cardenas/Guidotti (Dawn Zulueta) together with Marco Montenegro (Richard Gomez) visited Daniel. After awhile, Daniel's Attorney came and gave a disappointing information. Daniel's Attorney informed Daniel, Emily and Marco that the judge who was tasked to handle their case got sick. Daniel's Attorney also told them that Daniel would stay in jail for quiet a long time.
