Daniel Cruz/Guidotti (Coco Martin) kidnapped Tomas Alcantara (Joem Bascon) wherein Daniel tied up Tomas at a parking lot. Daniel tried to let Tomas talk about why he once kidnapped his sister, Katerina Alcantara/Montenegro (Julia Montes) but Tomas denied everything. Because of Tomas' refusal to give information, Daniel threatened Tomas by letting him feel what Katerina felt when she was captured by Tomas. Tomas, on the other hand, was very frightened especially when Daniel's car almost hit him. The day after, Tomas went home and informed his boss, Miguel Ramos (Nonie Buencamino) about what Daniel did to him. Concurrently, at the Guidotti's residence, Emilia "Emily" Cardenas/Guidotti (Dawn Zulueta) woke up early to report on her first day at the Guidotti Imports managed by Tomas. Emily was surprised to see flowers everywhere at her house and knew from Virginia Cruz (Susan Roces) that Marco Montenegro (Richard Gomez) sent the flowers. After knowing that it came from Marco, Emily's mood changed especially when Marco came to apologize again. Emily did not mind Marco's apology and even informed Marco that she won't change her decision, not to marry Marco. Meanwhile, Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino) had a meeting with his lawyer wherein he was informed about Katerina's decision to annul their marriage. The Lawyer even showed some pictures of Katerina with bruises all over her body as an evidence against Nathan. Nathan, on the other hand, was very mad at Katerina's decision wherein he would do everything he could so that his marriage to Katerina will not be annulled.
