August 9, 2012. Tomas Alcantara (Joem Bascon) informed his boss, Miguel Ramos (Nonie Buencamino), about what Emilia "Emily" Cardenas/Guidotti (Dawn Zulueta) wanted for the Guidotti Imports Company. Miguel was not intimidated by what Emily wanted to happen for the Guidotti Imports Company because he wants to give everything to Emily. Meanwhile, in Albay, Katerina Alcantara/Montenegro (Julia Montes) and Daniel Cruz/Guidotti (Coco Martin) enjoyed spending their time together. Daniel and Katerina reminisced everything from their past wherein they both wanted to bring it back as what they used to be. Later at night, Katerina had a nightmare about what Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino) did to her. Katerina then hurriedly went outside to calm herself down when suddenly Daniel approached her. Daniel tried to ask what Nathan did to Katerina but Katerina did not give any further details. The day after, Daniel went back home in Manila wherein Virginia Cruz (Susan Roces) asked him about Katerina's whereabouts. Daniel did not give any information to Virginia because he already promised not to lie to his grandmother. Virginia, on the other hand, did not mind to ask Daniel again because she knows that Daniel won't do anything bad to Katerina. Later that moment, at the wine bar, Nathan went to see Daniel and confronted him about Katerina's whereabouts. Nathan tried to convince Daniel to give him where Katerina is but Daniel kept his mouth shut. Concurrently, Johanna Montenegro (Melissa Ricks) went to a disco bar alone and disappointed to Tomas. Johanna felt insulted by Tomas because Tomas gives more time to his work than her. After awhile, a waiter approached Johanna, making her realize her importance. Later that moment, Daniel came to see Johanna and gave her a warning about what Johanna did to Katerina.
