October 2, 2012. Recently, at a restaurant, Katerina Alcantara (Julia Montes) and Daniel Cruz/Guidotti (Coco Martin) enjoyed their meal while talking about their upcoming wedding. Meanwhile, Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino) secretly observed Katerina and Daniel nearby the restaurant. Nathan is very disappointed after he knew that Katerina and Daniel are already engaged. Later that time, when Daniel and Katerina are on their way to leave, Nathan approached them and tried to convince Katerina to go back to him. However, Daniel protected Katerina from Nathan wherein suddenly, Katerina was bleeding. Daniel then rushed Katerina to the hospital without giving any information to Nathan. Nathan, on the other hand, was very shocked seeing Katerina bled wherein he had no clue that Katerina is pregnant. Later that time, at the hospital, Katerina became stable and was advised not to stress herself to protect her child. Later that time, while Katerina is still recovering, Daniel had a conversation with Luisa Alcantara (Sharmaine Buencamino) wherein Luisa asked Daniel to protect Katerina from Nathan.
