October 4, 2012. At the Montenegro's residence, the Montenegro family are gathered at their living room talking to Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino). Marco Montenegro (Richard Gomez) together with Emilia "Emily" Cardenas/Guidotti (Dawn Zulueta), Virginia Cruz (Susan Roces) and Johanna Montenegro (Melissa Ricks) tried to convince Nathan not to force himself to Katerina Alcantara (Julia Montes). Marco is very worried that Nathan might do something bad to Katerina again just like the way he did in the past. Nathan, on the other hand, notified everyone who talked to him that he won't hurt Katerina again, now that they both have a child soon. Later that time, Nathan visited his grandmother, Margaret Cruz/Montenegro (Helen Gamboa) inside prison again. Nathan happily informed Margaret that he is going to be a father soon. Nathan also shared how happy he is, having a chance to be with Katerina again. Margaret, on the other hand, tried to let Nathan understand that he won't have Katerina again because Katerina is already engaged to Daniel Cruz/Guidotti (Coco Martin). Later that time, at the house of Katerina, Daniel made sure that Katerina together with her mother, Luisa Alcantara (Sharmaine Buencamino) are going to be safe from Nathan.
